About me

My name is Christian Davey, and my background is in Bayesian statistics and statistical computing. I completed my PhD in Mathematics and Statistics at Monash University in 2020, under the supervision of Associate Professor Jonathan Keith and Associate Professor Tim Garoni. My dissertation, titled "Bayesian Adaptive Independence Sampling with Latent Variables", focussed on a novel framework for adaptive Markov chain Monte Carlo.

In July of 2022, I joined the Statistical Consulting Centre in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Melbourne, where I work as a Statistical Consultant.
